Where to start in Ohio
The Ohio Association of PAs (OAPA) offers general, leadership and diversity scholarships, with the next period opening in summer 2027. Its page states no residency rule, though recent recipients attend Ohio programs.
Two program awards are larger. Marietta College's Paul Spear Appalachia Scholarship covers half of tuition for two students per cohort, in exchange for a year of service per year funded. Ohio Dominican University's Choose Ohio First award paid up to $8,900 in 2025 to 2026 for Ohio residents from groups underrepresented in health care who plan to practice in the state.
