Frequently asked questions

You interview an AI standardized patient by voice, the way you would at a real OSCE station: take a history, ask for physical exam findings, and order labs and imaging. When the encounter ends, you receive a scored evaluation of your performance broken down by domain.

One credit starts one simulation session — a new case attempt and a retake each use one credit. Credits are added to your account right after checkout, and you can buy more at any time.

The simulator includes History Only, History & Physical, and Full Station cases. Depending on the case, you may interview the patient, request physical exam findings, order labs or imaging, and move into assessment and plan. Not every case uses every phase.

Each case shows its suggested duration before you start. Most encounters are designed to feel like a standard OSCE station, usually around 15-25 minutes, plus brief prep time and a short wait while your feedback is generated.

There is not a manual pause button once the station begins. If your session is interrupted, you can return to the OSCE Simulator and resume the unfinished case within 24 hours.

Breeze will stop the active voice session and preserve the unfinished attempt. When you return, look for the resume option on the OSCE Simulator page. If 24 hours have passed, you will need to start a fresh attempt.

No. Purchased credits stay on your account until you use them.

A computer or large tablet with a microphone and an up-to-date browser. You can buy credits on a phone, but the simulator needs a larger screen.

Use the Simulator on a Computer

You can purchase OSCE credits on mobile, but you will need to use the simulator on a computer or large tablet.
