Where to start in Colorado
The University of Colorado Anschutz lists six of these. The CU Medicine Primary Care Scholarship pays about $15,000 and the Co Bank Scholarship up to $15,000, both for first-year students with an interest in primary care or rural health care. Rural Track students should compare the two awards that require 2 years of rural work against the ones that do not.
At any Colorado program, start with the Colorado Academy of Physician Associates student scholarship, which requires membership. The academy's pages give both $500 and $1,000 for its two awards, so confirm the amount when you apply.
